What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule T2 Pro. What's really unique to this bike rack is that it has wheels. So if you really want a little bit more ease of use when putting it in or hauling it out of your hitch. We're gonna have these little wheels which makes it really nice. So you don't really have to lift it up near as much. Go ahead and put this in the hitch. And what I really like about this is we don't have a hitch pin or anything like that. We just have a little pin seeker here, kind of push that down, falls into place, and we have a knob. So you don't need any tools to get this nice and secured. And the nice thing about the knob is, it has a lock on it. So we can go ahead and take our keys, lock it up and it's gonna be nice and locked to the rack. But in this configuration, from the center of the Hitchman hole, to the farthest most point, it's about 20 inches. But we can go ahead and use this big old lever right here, Super easy to do. Pull it down and lock into place. In this configuration from the center of the Hitchman hole to the farthest most point, it's gonna be about 42 inches. So now that we're ready for bikes what you wanna do, is take this wheel hook, fold it out and then of course, grab your bike. And since we do have 60 pounds capacity per bike we can use our electric bikes, like you see here. Go ahead and put that in. I always like doing this first just because it actually holds the bike upright. And since it doesn't have any frame contact it's also gonna be good for your carbon fiber bikes as well. Come down here to the little strap. They give us an 18 inch long strap. And what I really like about this is you don't have to pull it. You can go ahead and crank that guy down, has a little sleeve for the fancy wheels we have here. So it's not gonna scratch anything up, and we are ready for the next bike. You can see down on our cradles here we're gonna have a couple different indentations. So the very deep groove is gonna be for our road bikes. As you can see, it fits in there really nicely but then the next one up, is going to be for your mountain bikes. But these cradles will accept tire width up to five inches. And when it comes to the wheel hook, we're gonna be able to use bikes with a wheel diameter of 20 to 29 inches. So for the kiddos bikes, it's gonna be good as well. For our fat tire bikes, they tend to be a little bit longer in wheel base. So, the nice thing about that is, we have this little cradle down here, which you can go ahead and adjust that. So for the kiddos bikes, put it up here, for our longer bikes like this, We can go ahead and do that. But one thing we are gonna have to do is reposition this strap, so it's gonna reach. So what we wanna do is we're gonna take our little pad off. We're gonna push this down to come out the other end and we're gonna take this and we're gonna go in the bottom hole here Just up like that. It should go through once we get that you can pull it nice and tight. We're gonna replace our little pad and now we have plenty of room for it to reach. And we're only gonna have to do that for our wider tire bikes. So even if you decide you're gonna be taking a fat tire bike sometimes, you can just keep the strap there. We'll have a little bit more leftover, but just know that you really only have to do that for the fat tire bike. So figure out exactly which cradle you're gonna use. And then you can swap the strap position on whatever one you plan on putting your fat tire bike on. But the nice thing about this is you're gonna be able to adjust it. So for the kiddos bikes that are really, really short wheel bases, you can go like that, for this one, you can adjust it back. The maximum wheel base for bikes is gonna be about 50 and a half inches. So you go ahead and pull this through, and then crank it down. As you can see, it really didn't take too long. I really like platform style racks, when it has the wheel hook just because it is a little bit quicker than some of the other ones that we have here. One thing I really like about this is, yes, we have a lock for the rack, so it's not gonna run away on us but we have a lock for each of our bikes. So it's stored right here, you pull this up, you can wrap it around your wheel or your frame and then it's gonna fit into this little slot, right there. And it is gonna be key to life with our lock down low. So you're just gonna have a set of two keys and you don't really have to worry about them not matching up
