A simple pork roast recipe for a Sunday meal. It's not fancy, but it's delicious, warm, comforting and nutritious. this is comfort food at its best. serve over spetzle or egg noodles or potatoes or rice here's what you'll need: one pork tenderloin anywhere from 1 to 3 lb depending on your family size 1 large yellow onion, chopped into large chunks 3 golden potatoes quartered 3 celery stalks chopped roughly 3 or 4 carrots chopped into bite size pieces 1 box of beef broth or 3 cups of water 3 garlic cloves chopped 2 Bay leafs 2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon black pepper 3 teaspoons paprika not smoked 1 package of brown gravy mix 2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp kitchen bouquet if you have it. if not you can go without. instructions set your oven to 350 f put all your ingredients in a pot. it helps if you rub the spices onto the meat directly before putting it into the pot put your pot in the oven and let it cook for about 2 or 3 hours. make sure you check on it because the liquid might be evaporating out and you will not want it to burn. add more water or beef broth if that starts to happen .
