This video was recorded on 2011 October. In that era, S6 was the oldest DMU which is used for daily passenger runs. As a sub plan of the National Exhibition "Deyata Kirula 2011", new train turn was introduced to run between Anuradhapura and Mihinthale. For there, an S6 Power car with few passenger coaches and S6 dummy car, were introduced to run this turn. This service was discontinued after a few weeks because there were no passengers. After that the DMU set were used to run between Anuradhapura - Medawachchhiya and Maho-Anuradhapura. However, due to different failures, the S6 734 power car was withdrawn from the service and condemned few years later.
