Two strong Japanese nakeds in a track test: Suzuki GSX-S 1000 meets Honda CB1000 Hornet SP. Both bikes forgo an IMU – and therefore cornering-optimised ABS or traction control. How does that play out on the racetrack? Surprisingly well! Despite limitations under hard braking, the muscular inline-fours and the relaxed ergonomics delivered plenty of riding fun.
