Valor Form had absurdly trash frame data, windups, even some internal bugs, but that all has been fixed up while adding on to its purpose as the Drive Form that uses Goofy's power. It's also just extremely COOL! If you like Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, this mod has been engineered in a way that only adds on to the way Sora plays, without sacrificing a single thing that made KH2FM the game you loved. No insane effects, no removed attacks, portability, and only things meant to feel more natural are tacked on top of the game's existing systems. This is strictly a better way to play as Sora.
