AUSTRIA | PIONEERING POWER SUPPLY FOR TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT CENTER & HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE DEPOT

With great excitement we present the project video ASFiNAG - Klagenfurt. "Our dream is simply to show that the technology is available, to bring change in order to maintain a planet worth living on for everyone in the future." - CTO, Tobias Reiner. We installed this pioneering power system, for one of Austria's most important traffic management centers and freeway maintenance depots (ABM) together with our cooperation partner K.E.M. Montage. This project is part of ASFiNAG's sustainability strategy and won the award as "Best Research Project" in the Austrian Symposium for Photovoltaics and Energy Storage. The Klagenfurt highway maintenance depot’s hybrid microgrid combines a 220-kWp photovoltaic installation with a 200 kW | 522-kWhs lithium-ion storage system, as well as 3 electric vehicle charging stations. 🔋☀️ Special thanks to our friends at ASFiNAG for the amazing support and cooperation!
