Real conversations with powerhouse women—about their work, impact, and what drives them. Not about being women. Just about crushing it. In celebration of ASA's 23rd Anniversary, ASA is releasing this new limited web series. Women Who Crush, created and hosted by ASA's Founder, Steph Sherer, chronicles her robust network of women who have contributed to the advancement of medical cannabis. About Dr. Bonni Goldstein @bonnigoldsteinmd (instagram) Bonni Goldstein, MD is a leading physician, educator, and advocate in the field of cannabinoid medicine. She is the CEO and co-founder of GoldsteinWellness.com, an educational platform for healthcare professionals, and the Medical Director of Canna-Centers, a medical practice dedicated to the therapeutic use of cannabis for serious and chronic conditions. Dr. Goldstein completed her residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she also served as chief resident. After years in pediatric emergency medicine, she transitioned to cannabinoid medicine upon witnessing its profound benefits in an ill friend. Over the past 17 years, she has evaluated thousands of patients and is recognized as an expert in cannabis therapeutics, with a special focus on children with intractable epilepsy, autism, cancer, and other complex conditions. A pioneer in cannabinoid research, Dr. Goldstein has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed articles investigating the impact of medical cannabis on children with autism through pharmacometabolomics. She is expanding this research to explore cannabis applications in dementia, PTSD and chronic pain. Dr. Goldstein is the author of two books, Cannabis Revealed, a semi-finalist for the American Botanical Council’s 2017 Book of the Year, and Cannabis Is Medicine, which is used as a textbook in cannabinoid medicine master’s programs. She serves on the board of the International Alliance for Cannabinoid Medicines and is a medical advisor to Weedmaps.
