#aquarium #aquariumhobby #aquariumfilter These stainless-steel shafts are quite easy to replace every few years and will greatly reduce the rattling that your AquaClear hang on the back filter may start to make after many years of use. In this video we show where we got these shafts and how we replace them, and the huge difference in the rattling noise before and after. We have done a couple videos on how we regularly change the shafts in these 27-year-old filters every few years but wanted to share this new deal we found on them, since the price has gone up in recent years. These stainless-steel shafts usually last us longer than 2 years, and the shafts in the other 110's on this same tank did, but it seems this filter may have gotten some course sediment in it that caused it to break down a little sooner.
