Developed for Australia by British Leyland, the Nomad used a 1500 E-Series engine with a 4-speed manual gearbox or, as here, a 1300cc A-Series engine with AP automatic transmission. The starting point was the BMC 1100, so we have Hydrolastic suspension and clever Issigonis packaging. But was is it like to drive?
