But none stick out as sorely in my mind as the Px4 Storm. I got mine as an add on during some panic buying and didn't think much of it until I actually shot it. Then I was immediately surprised. It was flat and controllable and the trigger was surprisingly good. After that it went on many backpacking and camping trips. It was a steadfast companion in the back country and was drop dead reliable. I have considered sending it to Langdon to have it souped up there but have consistently not gotten around to it. And with Beretta coming up on their 500th year I was hoping they would show up to SHOT show with a new generation of the Storm. Instead it was just some 92s. Don't get me wrong. I do love the 92 too. Still the Storm deserves a redemption arc. Hopefully we see something about this criminally underrated pistol this year. I know some people find it unattractive. That said I have always thought it was one of the best looking pistols out there. Time will tell if it's destine to fade away. Or comeback for it's deserved reception.
