TIKTOK: / peoplevfood INSTAGRAM: / peoplevfood FACEBOOK: / peoplevsfoodbyreact RECIPES: LUFFY’S MEAT ON THE BONE 4 chicken drumsticks 4 hard-boiled eggs 1 cup panko breadcrumbs 2-3 tbsp. milk 2 pounds ground chicken 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. dried parsley 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. togarashi seasoning 1 tsp. black pepper Vegetable oil to brush -Preheat oven to 400ºF and cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside. -Take chicken drumsticks and use scissors or a knife to carefully cut the meat loose from the drumstick. You want to flip the meat inside out at the end so the drumstick resembles a tulip. -In a bowl mix together breadcrumbs and milk to soften. While breadcrumbs are softening, in another bowl mix together chicken, seasonings and egg. Once combined add the breadcrumb mixture and knead to combine. -Fold the loose ends of the chicken around the egg. This helps hold the shape. Oil hands lightly and then cover the chicken egg with the meat and breadcrumb mixture forming the shape of a large drumstick. -Bake at 400ºF for 15-20 minutes or until a thermometer inserted reaches at least 165ºF. FRIED RICE BATTLE: CHEF ASH’S PINEAPPLE SHRIMP FRIED RICE 3 cups rice, cooked 1 whole fresh pineapple 1 tsp coconut oil 1 lbs shrimp, chopped 1/2 tsp ground coriander 1 tsp red curry paste 4 scallions, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 red chili pepper, chopped 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp oyster sauce Cilantro for garnish -Cook rice and set aside. -Take pineapple and slice in half. Hollow out the center and cut pineapple into smaller pieces. Set aside. -Heat wok to a medium high heat. Add oil to coat and then add in shrimp, coriander, and curry paste. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until shrimp is done. Set shrimp aside in a bowl. -Into the same pan, add scallions, red chili pepper, and garlic. Saute for another minute or until fragrant and slightly golden. Add in rice, shrimp and pineapple pieces. Cook for another minute stirring frequently. -Add in soy sauce and oyster sauce and mix. Cook for another 30 seconds. -Serve in hollowed out pineapple, garnish with cilantro, and enjoy! CHEF MICHAEL’S CURRY TEMPURA FRIED RICE 3 cups rice, cooked 1 tbsp canola oil 1/2 lb shrimp, chopped and marinated in curry powder 1 tsp MSG 1 cup frozen peas + carrots 2 eggs 4 scallions, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 inch knob ginger, minced 1 tbsp soy sauce Curry powder Sesame oil Shrimp tempura and curry croquette garnish 1. Cook rice and set aside. 2. Cook shrimp in canola oil until cooked through, approximately 3 to 5 minutes. Set aside. 3. Add rice to the hot pan and stir fry along with the frozen peas and carrots for 4 to 5 minutes, until the vegetables are cooked and the rice is slightly crispy. 4. In a bowl, combine egg, curry powder, and soy sauce, and add to the pan. Mix thoroughly and continue to fry for another 2 to 3 minutes. 5. Add msg and sesame oil to taste and finally add 2/3 of the scallions during the last 15 seconds of cooking. 6. Transfer to a bowl, pack it down, and invert it on a plate to create a nice rice dome. 7. Garnish with fried tempura and curry croquette. 8.
