|| Aum Gam Ganapathey Namaha || || Aum Shri Gurubhyo Namaha || SIFAA presents Bhāvayātrā: join us on a journey filled with emotion as we explore India's greatest saints and composers. Bhāvayātrā first presents Andal's Thiruppavai, a set of 30 hymns on Bhagwan Krishna. Pullin Vaai Keendanai — Atana – Adi In this verse, Āṇḍāḷ recalls Krishna’s victory over the demon Bakāsura, who appeared in the form of a giant bird. By remembering this episode, she strengthens the faith of her companions, reminding them that the Lord whom they seek is the same protector who has defended devotees throughout time. The Atana ragam conveys courage and urgency, elevating the devotional mood. This pasuram reinforces the idea that devotion is rooted not only in love but in trust that the divine safeguards all who surrender with sincerity. Singing these glorious deeds of those Krishna and Rama, our companions have already reached the place of taking our bath for the Pavai Vrat. The Venus star already arose and the Jupiter had set. O, Beautiful Deer-like and charming-eyed girl! Without dipping yourself, again and again, to take the bath in the ice-cold waters, passing time by laying on the bed; is it proper? Discard your loneliness and come with us, Oh Dear girl.
