Lamborghini Temerario GT3 testing at Monza: Accelerations & New 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8 Sound!

And here we are at that long-awaited day, the one when we'll discover the sound of the new Temerario GT3. So: Disappointed? Surprised? Better than expected? First of all, yes it's quiet. It reminds me a lot of the sound of the McLaren 720 GT3X, the unrestricted version of the actual GT3 car whose hoarse tone gives way to a softer and blown sound. It's practically the opposite of the beloved V10, so we should definitely avoid unnecessary comparisons with it. I'm the first to be disappointed that we won't have that sound in GT3 championships anymore soon, but this is what we are offered by the manufacturers nowadays. The Temerario GT3 is Lamborghini's new racing car, developed entirely by Squadra Corse for competitions starting in 2026. The car is powered by the same 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine as the road car, suitably modified for racing and deprived of the hybrid system. It should be capable of producing around 550 hp, adjusted according to the class' Balance of Performance.
