SMALL URBAN GARDEN VLOG | Last Summer Harvest of the Year!

Hi guys, welcome to my mini urban garden in St Louis, Missouri, zone 7a. It’s the middle of October and my summer crops have lasted this long because of unseasonably warm weather. But alas, summer has come to an end. Let’s do a final harvest of the summer crops today. Stay tuned until the end for a recipe of a summery pasta salad using fresh tomatoes from my garden. Summery pasta salad with tomatoes, corn & beans: Ingredients: 3/4 cups of tomatoes 3/4 cups of corn (fresh is better but frozen totally okay, just thaw it beforehand) 1/2 can of canned beans handful of cilantro asiago cheese extra virgin olive oil red wine vinegar any type of short pasta Instructions: boil a pot of water for pasta when it’s boiling, add 2 tsp sea salt and then add your pasta. cook according to the time on the instructions halve the tomatoes, cut the cilantro into small bits make sure you rinse and drain the canned beans when pasta is ready, drain it and let it cool down to a bowl, first add the pasta, then tomatoes, corn, beans, cilantro add olive oil, a few dashes of red wine vinegar, and salt top with asiago cheese mix and enjoy!
