Million $ Dollar Pie, Best Old Fashioned Southern Cooks MASTER COOKBOOK RECIPE #462 MILLIONAIRE PIE Ingredients: 4 oz. cream cheese, room temperature Half of 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk 8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained well 1/3 cup pecans, chopped 1/3 cup maraschino cherries, chopped 8 oz. cool whip topping 1/2 cup flaked coconut, toasted juice of 1/2 large lemon juice Graham cracker crust, Recipe #452 (see below for recipe) Instructions: In a mixing bowl, blend the first two ingredients well with a hand mixer until creamy. Add pineapple, pecans, cherries, lemon juice, and half of the Cool Whip. Gently fold everything together and pour into a 9-inch graham cracker crust. Use a decorating bag to pipe the remaining Cool Whip on top of the pie. Sprinkle toasted coconut over the top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Since it contains cream cheese,keep the pie refrigerated. Enjoy! Tammy’s tip: coconut can be toasted in the air fryer, the oven, and even in a nonstick skillet on the stovetop. MASTER COOKBOOK RECIPE #452 GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1/3 cup granulated sugar 1/4 cup salted butter Instructions: Place crackers in a gallon zip lock bag, crush with a rolling pin. Melt butter in a bowl, add sugar and cracker crumbs, and mix. Press onto a pie plate and bake 10 minutes at 350°F. Cool before filling. Option: instead of baking, microwave it 90 seconds then chill before filling. For a cinnamon crust, use Cinnamon graham crackers or add 1/2 tsp cinnamon to recipe.
