Dec 12, 2025 Sacramento Regional Transit light rail trains pass through the Richards Boulevard railroad crossing on the SACRT Blue Line and passing through the construction zone of the future Dos Rios Station in Sacramento, California. Note the Dos Rios Station area has a new wayside aspect signal on the inbound track for trains that turn around. The inbound track is still currently out of service and trains are single tracking on the outbound track in both directions. It seems they might have slightly adjusted the function of the beacons here. They would deactivate the second the directional train passes the beacon but from the next video I made for the construction site angle, I seen that the beacons in directional were staying active as long as the crossing is active and deactivated when the gates starts to rise.
