Sacramento Regional Transit light rail trains of November 2025 and updates to the light rail system this past month and some clips of Union Pacific freight trains featured. This month, the Blue Line was realigned onto new tracks near Richards Blvd at the site future Dos Rios Station but only single tracking on the outbound track as the inbound track is still under construction and hasn't had its OCS wires installed and platform construction adjacent to the new inbound track. Also, parts of it haven't been tamped yet. This also leads to single tracking on the old section between Ahern St and D St to the crossover switch since a temporary crossover hasn't been built by the construction site. The new tracks were completed between the Nov 1 - 15, 2025 service disruption on the Blue Line. This month, SACRT has received new Siemens S700 low floor cars 400 series 30, 31, and 32 with 29 being received recently also in Sep 2025. These 4 new cars haven't reached the testing phase yet so it'll be a while until they are in service possibly by late spring 2026. During the Nov 1 - 15 Blue Line service disruption on the Blue Line, I got footage of the K Street Diamond Crossover Track being used near the 10th & K Cathedral Square where the southern active section of the Blue Line was turning around while the northern half of the active Blue Line turned around at Marconi/Arcade Station. Last but not least, I got some Union Pacific Railroad freight trains featured with the main feature being the Florin Flyer Local pulling a freight train across and or past Nimbus Road railroad crossing also Hazel Avenue and even reaching the inbound platform ramp of the Hazel Station. This is a very rare move as freight trains usually never make a move past Nimbus Rd Aerojet Entrance. ------------------------------------- Timestamps 0:00 Normal Service 17:53 Rare Freight Move Past Nimbus Rd/Hazel Ave, Normal Service 24:25 Normal Service 27:26 K Street Crossover Diamond Used For 10th & K/Cathedral Square Station Blue Line Train Turnarounds, Nov 1 - 15 Service Disruption 38:07 Normal Service 41:27 Blue Line's Temporary Single Tracking Arrangement Due To Dos Rios Construction, Gold Line Low Floor Pull Out Train On Blue Line 42:47 New Tracks & Alignment Of Blue Line for Future Dos Rios Station, Single Tracking Temporarily 44:37 Normal Service 44:40 Another Low Floor Pull Out Train Heads To Gold Line 44:53 Normal Service 46:19 Train Yard If Sacramento Regional Transit, Normal Service 48:29 Normal Service 53:07 Through New Alignment Single Tracking At Dos Rios Construction Site Again 54:12 Single Tracking On Old Alignment Between Ahern St & D Street 56:02 Crossing Over On Switch Near Alkali Flat/La Valentina Between C St and D St 56:57 Trains On New Track Alignment At Future Dos Rios Station Single Tracking On Outbound Track 1:05:28 Normal Service ------------------------------------- Camera Sony FX30 Cinema Line + Tamron 17mm - 300mm Lense Canon EOS R50 V + Sigma Contemporary 16-300mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
