Titan Canyon – Server 1508 North Alliance vs J341, -NOS, hrts Szliszka Perspective VIP13 Mixed March CE Battle date: 09/02/2023 Well, it’s been a while since my last post. Between having lackluster match ups (until post dominators), to having multiple players covering 1508 events, I didn’t have that much motivation to do the editing and posting. This week though, we happened to have a decent match up for titan canyon with 4 alliances having several 50-69M players (but mostly 30-49M CP players) with no mega whales that can just dominate the map. Since my last video, I’ve significantly broadened my account strength by building a fairly decent navy march (though not full meta) and improved my fundamentals (~3k/~350% atk/dmg). Overall, our strategy in this match was to have our 50M+ players pressure whoever was winning (or second place alliance due to the initial closeness in strength) to restrict their points while trying to maintain ours. Titan canyon is one of those events where if the match up is close and the top players are willing to battle it out, whoever is willing to spend more gems will tend to win an area as seen several times during this match (like when Tempest 62M kicks forces me out). Unfortunately, I found out after the event that I spent the entire match having AF world boss skills on my army (gipsy, megatron), and no damage increase skills on my AF as a result. Bummer… as it would have made a difference with the repairs. Will never happen again… till next time! Notable moments: 0:00-2:43 - scanning the competition. Couple scary 60M on each team but no mega whales 3:51 - First blood. It's actually been a while since I've been able to clear multiple 200+ march size marches from a building so was pretty happy with the hit (interestingly Jesse, their 60M whale was in there with 2 army marches). Didn't take long for their 50Ms to take me out though. 7:02, 8:12 - Invading bottom left starting with a strong hit from my navy. Did a few exchanges with Mach5 who was rocking ES7s on Airforce 15:05 - Invading top right alliance, until Tempest (62M CP ES7 player) forces me out with some big base hits. 20:30 - Invading bottom right as team yellow was in second place at the time. Was able to burn a 49M cp player there, which was surprising for my general strength level. 29:34 - Taking some big hits from Mach5 but surviving somehow despite having my navy and army mains out.
