Location: Wyke Cop Road - Scarisbrick - PR8 5LS Crossing Type: Manually Controlled Barriers with Obstacle Detection (MCB-OD) Line: Manchester - Southport line Timetable used: Meols Cop (closest station) Footage originally captured on April 2nd and September 2nd 2025. Footage recorded at 14:38 and 15:30 Two different videos taken exactly 5 months apart, with one closure from April during a very windy day and the other one recorded last month. This crossing is located on a country lane with sister crossing Pool Hey located further afield. Both crossings here received an upgrade to MCB-OD having replaced AHBC setups. Although I don't mind the upgrade, at the same time I think it's rather pointless considering that the road doesn't see significant traffic.
