The trains were running significantly late on this day, and during one closure I had to help out and close the gate on my side when the crossing activated at short notice. This crossing has been earmarked for closure by Network Rail since at least 2021 alongside Shaws LC in Lathom, with this crossing in particular being closed to road traffic but remaining open to pedestrians, cyclists, and equestrian users.
