Mediterranean-Style Seafood Soup | Italian Seafood Soup Recipe This Mediterranean-Style Seafood Soup is a classic Italian-inspired dish made with fresh clams, mussels, and white fish in a flavorful broth infused with white wine, tomatoes, garlic, and herbs. It is a light yet comforting seafood soup that is easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion. Serve it with toasted bread and enjoy a taste of the Mediterranean at home. Ingredients • 2 tbsp olive oil • 1 medium onion, minced • 1 whole bulb garlic, minced • 1 bunch parsley, minced • 3 medium tomatoes, diced • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste) • ½ tsp ground black pepper • 4 cups vegetable broth • ½ tsp dried rosemary • 300g fresh clams, cleaned and soaked • 300g fresh mussels, cleaned and soaked • 500g white fish fillet (tilapia or cod), cut into chunks • 1 cup white wine Instructions 1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Sauté the onion until softened. 2. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in parsley and cook for about 30 seconds. 3. Add diced tomatoes and let them break down, releasing their natural sweetness. 4. Season with salt and black pepper. Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a gentle boil. 5. Stir in dried rosemary. Drop in the clams and mussels, cooking until they open, about 3 to 5 minutes. Discard any that remain closed. 6. Gently add the fish chunks and let them simmer for 5 minutes until fully cooked. 7. Pour in the white wine and let it blend into the broth. Simmer for 2 more minutes. 8. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. 9. Ladle the soup into a large serving bowl, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot with toasted bread. This Italian seafood soup is light, flavorful, and easy to make at home.
