RV Tools - Tools to Keep in RVs - Be Prepared

RV Tools In this video, Sharon, one of the Two Tired Teachers, shows us tools we carry in the RV. Duct tape and WD 40 make up the redneck tool kit, and they are the first things we carry. We also have a safety vest and some reflexive arm bands. If it helps you to be seen at the side of the road, it's worth carrying. Know where the tool is to use with hydrolics. If you need it, you need to know where it is. We also have rain gear for when we have to set up and take down in the rain. It also comes in handy for taking the dogs out in the rain. A battery charger is another thing we carry. We also have jumper cables in the truck. We carry an air compressor. Before we bought it, we checked the PSI on our tires. It also meant that we needed a tire gauge that had higher readings. Plumber's tape is small and easy to carry, so we try to be sure we have a couple of rolls of it. It comes in handy with any kind of plumbing repairs. We are in a 30 amp fifth wheel. We carry a 30 amp to 50 amp adapter. We have had to use it several times when we've been in sites where the 30 amp didn't work. We carry an extra fresh water hose, an extra sewer hose, and an extension for our 30 amp plug. We've needed each of those at one time or another. We carry extra washers. We carry a calking gun and some calk. We have patch for a roof. We carry basic tool kits. Additionally, we have various wrenches. We carry a level. We have various bungee cords and zip ties. We carry a fuse tester and extra fuses. It's another thing that we have had to use. We have a crank up flashlight that is a backup flashlight. If you have tools that you've needed on the road, please tell us about it in the comments.
