This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Amana Academy 1st-8th grade students are challenged this year to redefine the world they live in. The TEDxYouthDay theme for this year is Worlds Imagined. Students will answer the Guiding Question: "What do you want the future to look like?" Auprell imagines a world where people notice animals as friends, not beasts Auprell Edwards is a 4th grade student at Amana academy.She likes painting, reading, and helping others forget about bad things that they want to forget. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
