Teams from across the country come together to compete in this fast-paced, highly organised tournament circuit that reflects the standards of top-level international events. The Super7s uses the speedball format—an exciting version of paintball played on a small field filled with inflatable bunkers. This setup creates a quick, high-pressure environment where players depend on sharp reflexes, strong teamwork, constant communication, and smart tactical choices. With multiple rounds held each year, teams earn points throughout the season, making every match meaningful. One of the biggest strengths of the Super7s is how accessible it is to players of all backgrounds. The league features three levels—Amateur, Semi-Pro, and Pro—allowing anyone from first-time competitors to seasoned athletes to participate at an appropriate skill level. New players often begin in the Amateur division, where they can learn the fundamentals of tournament play, such as field strategy, timing, and teamwork, while gaining experience in a supportive setting. All gear used in the series is lightweight, fast-shooting, and carefully regulated for safety, and mandatory protective masks ensure that the sport remains both safe and enjoyable. Super7s events usually span an entire weekend and consist of numerous short, high-intensity matches. Speedball games are designed to be quick—often only a few minutes long—so teams rely on aggressive gameplay, coordinated breakout moves, and clear communication to gain the advantage. The atmosphere at these events is always lively, with referees managing the action, spectators watching from viewing areas, vendors selling equipment, and media crews capturing the highlights. Despite the competitive stakes, the community remains welcoming, with teams supporting one another and sharing a genuine passion for the sport. For those new to paintball, the Super7s offers an exciting and approachable gateway into competitive play. It highlights just how strategic, athletic, and team-driven the sport can be, blending fast-paced action with coordination and thoughtful planning. Whether you're stepping onto the field for the first time or looking to advance beyond casual weekend games, the Super7s Paintball Series provides a structured, friendly, and exhilarating path into the competitive side of paintball in Australia.
