My First Links Golf Round Was ALMOST Perfect

Links golf is defined as a course that is generally built on the coastline with a firm surface and sandy soil. Throughout my entire golfing life I’ve never had the chance to play one, until now. In this video I’ll show you how I prepared my game for this unique experience before playing on one of the most famous Links courses in the world, Royal Lytham St Annes. While I have played a links style course before at Chambers Bay, it’s not considered a true links course, given that it’s not located in the British isles. Now that I live in Canada, all the courses I play are known as Parkland, and even while growing up in the UK this was the type of course I would exclusively play. But on a visit back to the UK, I’ve planned a trip to the north with my step dad Roger and Step brother Will to change that.
