Food in the Philippines is a blend of local and regional variations mixed with a spoonful of influences from Asia, China and Spain. I head to the local People’s Market at Taguig to buy the ingredients so I can make a simple, Filipino dish with the groceries from the market. I love the people’s market’s, you’ll find one in every major town around the Philippines. They are part and parcel of the culture, the life blood I admit that the dish I chose was an easy choice - which is why I chose it. Plain and simple filipino cuisine at home.
