Unveiling my face after starting the chemotherapy cream, Kefunova, three weeks ago. Peeling, oozing, and blistering have all subsided. I'm still a little pink, but hopefully that will go away as the week progresses. Did it get it all? No. Did it get some? Yes. I'll be able to tell more as the pinkness fades. I have a worrisome spot on my nose where Kefunova accidentally transferred. The spot means abnormal cells are there. Whether it is squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, or a actinic keratosis (AK), only the dermatologist can say for certain. My check-up is in April. Hopefully enough cream got on it to kill the cells. We shall see. It feels good to be able to go into public again. It feels good not to feel like some kind of mutant. I'm so anxious to live a normal life again. Thanks everyone for the prayers.
