Easy Chicken Doner Kebab (Makes 4 Sandwiches) Ingredients For the Chicken Marinade: ½ lb chicken breast (about 250 g), cut into small cubes ¾ cup plain yogurt (7 oz / 200 g) 1 tbsp lemon juice (15 ml) 4 cloves garlic, grated (about 15–20 g) 1 tsp cumin (5 g) 1 tsp turmeric (5 g) 1 tsp cinnamon (5 g) 1 tsp salt (6 g) ½ tsp sugar (2 g) For Cooking: 1 tsp potato starch or corn starch (3 g), mixed with 1 tbsp water (15 ml) For the Wraps: 4 flatbreads (homemade with bread maker or store-bought) 1½ cups cabbage, finely shredded (about 150 g) ½ medium onion, thinly sliced Chili flakes — to taste Step-by-step (Makes 4 sandwiches) 1. Marinate chicken: Mix chicken cubes with yogurt, lemon juice, grated garlic, cumin, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and sugar. Let sit 15 minutes. 2. Prep veg: Shred cabbage (about 150 g) and thinly slice ½ onion. 3. Cook chicken: Heat a pan over medium-high with a little oil. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through (6–8 minutes). 4. Thicken sauce: Stir in a slurry of 1 tsp potato/corn starch + 1 tbsp water; simmer 1 minute until sauce lightly thickens. 5. Add the ingredients to the bread maker basket in the order listed above. 2. Insert the basket into the bread maker. Select Dough → d6 and press Start. 3. After 8 minutes, the machine will beep.
