The last time this happened the Slant 6 was in the new Valiant line and they soon found out every other small car was going to have a V8. They developed the 273 in an amazingly short time and the rest is history. Unfortunately, this is not that Chrysler Corporation this is French/Italian Stellantis and this 6 is in their bread and butter vehicles.
