Very close to Notre Dame, we found Alliance, a one-star Michelin, also a three-toque Gault et Millau, restaurant. This 8-year fine-dining restaurant offers a contemporary and innovative dining experience - which is suitable to celebrate a birthday of our friend, and also to welcome the another spring in Paris. The menu is designed by Chef Toshitaka Omiya. Born in Osaka, Japan, he moved to Paris in 2001 and was introduced to French cuisine by the big names like Joël Robuchon, Alain Passard and Philippe Legendre, who taught him the secret of juices and deep consommés, the strength of vegetables and the subtle art of roasting. With his talent, passion and techniques, Chef Toshitaka creates dishes that are as close as possible to the products, and both flavourful and visually stunning. Having this wonderful experience in Alliance, we can feel the Chef sensitivity in flavours, texture and decorations by using high-quality, seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients with the perfect seasoning. The restaurant itself is elegant, warm and minimalist, provides a perfect ambience for the gastronomic journey. The large window between the kitchen and the dining room brings the open, warming space. With its excellent service and attention to detail, Alliance provides us a wonderful experience during our friend’s special day.
