In this final episode of our 3-part Îles-de-la-Madeleine travel series, we explore the fascinating theme of shipwrecks while soaking in some of the best sights on the islands. We kick off the day at l’Observatoire Anse de l’Étang du Nord, a stunning lookout right next to Julie Snyder’s house, where you can spot the famous Duke of Connaught shipwreck. Next, we head over to Corfu Island Beach to see the incredible Corfu Island shipwreck, where you can literally walk right up to the remains of the ship! For lunch, we stopped at Boulangerie Madelon, a perfect spot for a delicious and budget-friendly meal. Afterwards, we made our way south to the charming Anse-à-la-Cabane Lighthouse, an amazing spot for photos. Just down the road, we visited the Musée de la Mer des Îles-de-la-Madeleine, where we discovered some impressive whale bones and learned more about the island’s maritime history. Before leaving, we enjoyed breathtaking views from the Rocher du Cap aux Meules Observation Deck—a perfect way to wrap up our adventure before catching the ferry back to Prince Edward Island. ✨ This trip was unforgettable, and we can’t recommend visiting the Îles-de-la-Madeleine enough—especially in the off-season when the islands are quieter and even more magical. 👉 If you haven’t already, check out Part 1 and Part 2 of this series to discover even more of the best things to do in the Magdalen Islands! Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more adventures as we continue our travels through the Maritimes. 🌍 #IlesdelaMadeleine #TravelVlog #Shipwrecks #Maritimes #QuebecTravel #CanadaTravel
