Weekly Insights with Dom Barcellona 1/11/26: Impact on internal decisions of Sheriff’s Office by running against current sheriff. One advantage of my campaign for sheriff is that it challenges the current system and sparks real change even before officially taking office. By highlighting these concerns, I’ve helped bring important issues to light, leading to progress that would not have happened otherwise. Many of these problems would have remained ignored if they hadn’t been made public. Despite the current Sheriff serving since December 1, 2014, these matters were only addressed after being exposed. Even without yet leading the Sheriff’s Office, positive changes are already occurring. When elected as your next Sheriff on November 3, 2026, consider how much more we could accomplish for public safety.
