The Lois Dress by Tessuti Patterns, altering the pattern to a less revealing fit. Hello everyone and welcome to db designs and Sewing Australia, I have finally finished a Lois dress by Tessuti Patterns, mu video shows all of the alteration I have made to the pattern to get a fit that does not show your bra and fits well. After three toils I settled on the size 14 with alterations to bring the skirt point up higher and in doing so I re-curved the bodice bust section, I’m extremely happy with the result and now have a wearable dress. https://www.tessuti-shop.com/products... The fabric I used in the final dress is a rayon from Spotlight Australia. Having said that I think the dress is best in a rayon/viscose or a floaty type of fabric rather than a linen or cotton linen, it gives a much better drape and flow.
