See how these places have changed over the years – from peaceful walls to bloody secrets just waiting to be uncovered! Legend has it that one day, a storm broke over the Gotthardsruine Benedictine monastery, and in their desperation, the bandits threw the nuns into barrels filled with nails and hurled them down the steep slopes. The monastery was never rebuilt because, as the story goes, long before this place, the shadow of Sodom and Gomorrah hung over it. Or maybe it's just a medieval rumor? Who knows!
