In this accident, everyone including the pilots of that plane along with Ajit Pawar lost their lives. There were 5 people present in the plane that crashed. Apart from Ajit Pawar, these included a Mumbai Police personnel deployed for his security, two pilots and a crew member. The command of the aircraft was in the hands of 44 year old Captain Sumit Kapoor, while co-pilot Shambhavi Pathak was supporting him. Both were said to be residents of Delhi.
