Wow! What a delicious breakfast THIS turned into! It was also easy to put together and once made it would easily feed 4-6 people. Since we only had two eaters in the house, we warmed up the leftovers the next day, and it was STILL delicious. We wrapped the leftovers in aluminum foil then heated it on 325 degrees for about 30 minutes. Hope you enjoy this one and we are posting it here in the description if you want to give it a try. As always...thanks so much for watching and following along with us! 🥰 #breakfast #breakfasttime #breakfastideas #eggs Egg Breakfast Braid Ingredients: 1 Puff Pastry Roll 5 Slices of Cheddar Cheese 6 Soft Scrambled Eggs 1 Egg for Wash if desired Crumbled cooked Bacon, Ham or Sausage 1/2 Cup Chopped Onion (if desired) 3/4 Cup Shredded Cheese of your choice Everything Bagel seasoning Directions: Pre-heat Oven to 400 degrees Scramble eggs and put to side Unroll Puff Pastry on parchment lined baking sheet Lay Cheddar Cheese slices in center of pastry Place scrambled eggs on top of cheese Sprinkle bacon bits (or meat of your choice) on top of eggs Sprinkle onion on top Sprinkle Shredded cheese on top Slice sides of pastry away from center to edge at a 1/2 inch diagonal cut. At each end of your egg mixture cut pastry from eggs to the ends leaving a flap of pastry to fold over the eggs on each end. Discard the pastry triangles left at each end. Fold the ends of pastry over at the top and bottom, then take each side strip and layer over the middle of the egg mixture forming a braid. Cover the braid with the egg wash. Sprinkle Everything Bagel Seasoning on top of Braid Cook for 20-25 minutes until pastry is brown.
