One day Würzburg - City on the Main in the heart of Franconia - On the road in Bavaria

In Würzburg, we'll explore the impressive Residenz Palace, stroll through Ringpark and the Old Town before climbing Marienberg Hill and enjoying the view from the Fürstengarten of the fortress complex. The old town of Würzburg delights with countless magnificent buildings and a ring park that surrounds the entire old town on the site of former fortifications. Also in the old town is the Residenz, one of the most important palace buildings of the late Baroque period. This impressive building is on a par with Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna and Versailles Palace in Paris and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the Residenz, the tour continues through the old town - past the Würzburg Cathedral - to the old bridge over the Main River in the direction of the fortress on the Marienberg. Here you have an impressive view of the entire city of Würzburg from the Fürstengarten. The descent back to the banks of the Main through the vineyards on the slopes of the fortress are also picturesque. We finish the day - of course - with a glass of Franconian wine on the banks of the Main. Feel free to leave me questions, suggestions and criticism under this video.
