** Best watched on a larger Tablet or Computer screen...Turn up the volume..!!! Today was my chance to realise an idea i have had in my mind for quite a few Months.. I drove to the top of the Quantock Hills, near Triscombe in what can only be described as quite thick mist..confident it would clear in time for the appearance of the West Somerset Railway's 6960 'Raveningham Hall' on the 09.35 path on the Winter Steam Festival.....With the WSR closing down on the 1st January until the end of March 2019 i decided i needed one more video to finish off this Year with.. Having done the other well known Hill at Old Cleeve in the past, i fancied something a bit different.. I wish i had brought my Binoculars so i could have had a rough idea where the Railway track was in the Landscape, but it was ok due to the plume of Smoke in the distance...Phew !! Luckily the mist cleared and i had a nice clear view well down past Bishops Lydeard... My Panasonic X920 was set on the lowest 12X Zoom setting..any higher and it would have degraded the HD. I am quite pleased the way it has come out..in my opinion well worth the 4 Mile round trek to film the Hall. Hope You enjoy it, maybe not to everyone's taste..lol.....Cheers, Steve. ** Interestingly at 08:24 there is a 5 Second delay between the Whistle being sounded just before Waterdene Farm Crossing and it being heard on the Hill...!!
