THE GREAT MAWLA GHATI ULTRA - RUNNER'S PERSPECTIVE

In this runner's perspective video, i covered 50 Km running in a pure trail experience offered by Jumping gorrilla team. This race happens in the onset of monsoon in the sahyadris near Pune. What i loved : pure trail experience, almost self supported race, it is tough, It is beautiful and scenic. I must say this is the toughest 50 Km i have done. Officially my race was a DNF. Owing to a hamstring injury in the early course, i couldn't run for the second half of the race. But i resolved to reach finish line without retiring anywhere. The Mengjai peak is a highlight of this route. Very peaceful but difficult climb to reach there. Handful of attestations make the race even more challenging. We stayed in Hotel vishal (https://g.co/kgs/93Qxg9W) - very accessible to the race venue (7-8 km) , then hired goods auto to reach the start point.
