Kuala Lumpur (KL) is one of the ULTIMATE cities on Earth for food. I have successfully completed an annual visit almost every year since 2009... and I am still SO excited for 2025! Thanks for hanging out with my family and I today, this Chinese-Malay feast is the stuff of dreams, I am so happy to be here. A totally unique style of food, naming this broadly as "Chinese Malay" and yet one could not find such a meal IN the mainland of China. While the styles of cooking are definitely Chinese in origin, its the local flair and flavor, the ingredients as well of course with some additional Malay spices (and even entire dish options, "Asam Pedas" for one), it is truly a complete, exotic, one-of-a-kind lunch you have to try when you visit Kuala Lumpur. There are a highly rated restaurants serving in this "Tun" steamer style downtown, but I will definitely go with our ultra-hard working and huge-smiling Uncle as the best choice of all :). Its a joy to watch him work, the entire team are really fun here, and man they are taking care of us well today. A lunch to remember for sure!
