A full vocal warm up routine for finding different colour in your voice | MusicForMy... Voice

Colour as a musical term?! It's weird right? But we very much have a lot of options when it comes to differing the colour in our voices. And different colour makes a more accomplished and much much more interesting performance. Differing the colour in our voices brings the magic dust to the songs that we are singing. It's what takes our singing from good to great and this video is going to give you three vocal colours to do just that. And it'll warm your voice up too! In this video we start off by finding our breath with some inhales, breath holds and exhales and then we do some lip bubble arpeggios. Then we start the main exercise, singing the word 'May' in three different ways; firstly in a forward nasally placement to a five note scale, then a pre-yawn placement to a melodic pattern and we finish with cool down interval slides on a breathy tone. Three different colours on the same word/vowel sound, three different colours that you can add to your singing bag of tricks. This video is part of the MusicForMy...
