From Bridge Lift to Ship Lift-A Tug's journey in Victoria BC, Canada

Welcome to Victoria Harbour in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, as we follow the journey of the tugboat TWC Endurance from bridge lift to ship lift. The story begins with a brief look at the tug’s arrival at Ogden Point before we move into the inner harbour, where the Johnson Street Bridge lifts to allow her passage on the way to Point Hope Maritime. From there, we head into the shipyard as the tug is carefully positioned on the cradle and slowly lifted to dry land, then moved onto the turntable and guided into her dry berth. Operated by Tidewater Canada, TWC Endurance represents a modern generation of harbour tugs built for precision and power. This video also captures my very first time filming at Point Hope, footage I had forgotten about and later rediscovered in my archive. It’s not polished, and neither am I — but it’s real, and it marks the beginning of a journey I’m grateful to share with you.
