Great news for South Carolina families! Applications are now underway for the 2026–27 Education Scholarship Trust Fund (ESTF)—a new program that offers $7,600+ per year to help eligible K–12 students from low- to moderate-income families get the education that fits them best. Joining me is Teshia McIver from Palmetto NavigatED to walk families through how this new scholarship works and how to apply. Through the Education Scholarship Trust Fund, parents have more choices and more control. If your child qualifies, you’ll receive an online education wallet that can be used for approved education expenses such as: • Private school tuition • Tutoring and academic support • Educational therapy and services • Textbooks and learning materials • And more Starting in the 2026–27 school year, at least 15,000 scholarships will be available to South Carolina students each year.
