In this video, I will be sharing a low sodium protein & veggie mix that is appropriate for anybody following a DASH diet. This recipe is also lower in fat thanks to the lean protein but still has lots of flavor with the seasonings and a little extra stewing that makes this delicious and nutritious! of Servings: 4 Nutrition per Serving: 300 kcal, 38g protein, 150 mg sodium Ingredients: 2 Tbsp olive oil 4 green onions chopped (separate whites and greens) 1 Tbsp minced garlic 1.7 lbs ground turkey 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1 can of diced tomatoes 1 Tbsp tomato paste 2 Tbsp Kirkland No Salt Seasoning 1 Tbsp dried onion flakes 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp paprika 2 cups of frozen mixed veggies Chicken stock (as needed) Instructions: 1. Heat pan. Add olive oil. Add in whites of green onions and minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 min. 2. Add ground turkey, salt and black pepper. Cook until browned (juices absorbed, no longer pink) 3. Add in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, No Salt Seasoning, onion flakes, garlic powder. paprika and splash of chicken stock. Mix together, cover with lid and cook on medium-low heat for 10 minutes. 4. Add in mixed veggies and splash chicken stock. Cover with lid and cook for another 10 minutes on medium-low heat. 5. Turn off heat, add in greens from green onions and enjoy!
