This video contains three matches I had with the recently released LV1 Gundam Hajiroboshi on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 600 cost raid with incredible mobility, great melee damage, access to multiple stagger defence skills, radar disruption with LV1 Ahab Wave alongside a low HP limit release mode that allows you to fire the machine gun while boosting. It suffers from only having one ranged weapon, no instant staggers, very high thrust consumption while using Flap Booster and long melee cooldowns. I hope that you enjoy watching! Its primary weapon is a machine gun with 400x4 power, 40 ammo, 0.3 seconds cooldown, 7 seconds reload time, 0.5 seconds swap time, 300m range and 13%x4 stagger value. This has pretty good DPS and high stagger value, but it is difficult to use in a face-to-face 1v1 against a suit with instant staggers. When Output Limiter Release is activated, it can be fired while boosting. Its primary melee weapon is a smart mace with 2600 power, 2 seconds cooldown, 0.33 seconds swap time, 1.5 seconds focus time, 60%/36% combo modifier, 140% downswing modifier and 200%x2 heavy attack modifier. This does decent damage, it is an easy to use combo starter. The heavy attack does pretty good damage, but has short reach. Both the downswing and the heavy attack can be used mid-air. It apparently deals extra damage based on the target's remaining HP with Aerial Melee, but the specifics have not been figured out yet. Its first sub weapon is a shield drill with 850 power, 4 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 100%x4 neutral swing modifier, 100%x4 side swing modifier and 130%x4 downswing modifier. This cannot combo swings, but regular swings heavy stagger. All swings with this ignore defensive buffers. Its second sub weapon is a club shield bash with 2000x2 power, 3.5 seconds cooldown and 0.5 seconds swap time. This cannot combo swings and it only has one swing animation, but it knocks down and deals fairly good damage. The melee swing has fast start-up time. In terms of durability, it has 23,000 HP, 20 ballistic resist, 22 beam resist and 24 melee resist. It has pretty good HP paired with amazing defensive skills, like LV2 Maneuver Armor, LV3 Emergency Evasion, LV1 Offence System, LV2 Close Combat System, and the newly added LV1 Nano-Laminate Armor. While above 50% HP, ranged attacks that deal less than 1500 damage have their damage reduced by 20%, and stagger build-up reduced by 20%. In terms of mobility it has 135 (138 including ground affinity) walking speed, 225 boosting speed, 75 thrust and 81 (87 including affinity) turning speed. It has incredible mobility by default, benefiting from having LV4 Forced Injectors and LV3 Flight Control, but it becomes even faster once LV1 Output Limiter Release activates. It also has access to LV1 Ahab Waves and LV1 Output Limiter Release. LV1 OLR activates for 60 seconds once the suit falls below 80% HP, granting +20 range/melee modifier, improved mobility, reduced thrust consumption, reduced damage taken while boosting alongside the ability to fire the machine gun while boosting. In conclusion, I think that the Hajiroboshi is not that strong. It has very impressive melee power, great skills and amazing mobility, but it really pays for it by only having a machine gun as a ranged weapon. Even generals will take large amounts of damage if caught in close range by this thing, but actually getting to that point is very difficult when it has no instant staggers. It can start to play more aggressively once the low HP skill activates, but even with a boost fire machine gun, it is still difficult to cleanly combo into melee after a stun. Ultimately, it has the unfortunate combination of being difficult to play while not being that strong to make up for it, so I am not sure if I could really recommend it. The Shokew is miles ahead of this thing, even the older RF Gouf seems to be a lot stronger, so I can't recommend rolling for what is effectively a 600 cost Red Rider. Thanks for watching!
