Disused Stations of the Chicago Aurora and Elgin - MAIN LINE - Part 2

Part Two of a virtual tour of the disused stations and facilities along the Main Line of the historic Chicago, Aurora, and Elgin railway, by cycling the route of the remaining Main Line, from Villa Park, through the the communities of Lombard, Glen Ellyn, and Wheaton, Illinois. In this journey, we visit the sites of 11 former stations along the Illinois Prairie Path, including two surviving CA&E gems, Villa Avenue and Ardmore. We also identify several remaining artifacts along the former trackway. We end the video with the Wheaton station, the hub of the entire CA&E railway, as well as a survey of the CA&E facilities in Wheaton. Thanks for watching and for taking this journey with us!
