Te Waikoropupu Springs is the largest freshwater spring in New Zealand with insanely clear water. In a lake around the road, at Anatoki Salmon farm, a spot of fishing and our lunch is waiting. Anatoki Salmon farm is a really cool concept — they provide the fishing gear, you catch the salmon, they cook it for you to your liking and you sit in the sun with a beer. Yup, that's perfectly fine with us! These bad boys are not only the largest freshwater springs in New Zealand but also the largest cold water springs in the Southern Hemisphere. It's a lovely walk around the springs with incredible sounds and a peaceful setting. We stayed at the Abel Tasman Lodge.
