Mars 火星 - stunts - actor - action director Born in Shanghai in 1954, Mars 火星 studied Beijing Opera 京劇 during his childhood at the Eastern Drama Academy 東方戲劇學院 under famed teacher Tang Ti 唐迪, alongside other Hong Kong movie stars such as Ching Siu-Tung 程小東, Alan Chui 徐忠信, and others. In the late 60s, Mars 火星 showed up in many films and later became a stuntman, earning the reputation of being one of the best in the business. In the late 80s he became Jackie Chan’s Stunt Team 成家班 senior member and appeared either acting or doing stunt work in most of his hit films. Mars eventually transitioned into stunt coordinator and action director, but kept playing supporting roles for several decades.
