Though grief is such a natural response to significant loss of any kind, it can be hard to traverse during this time of year, when it seems so many others have been able to put it aside. I think more people than we realize are experiencing deep-seated grief from the loss of loved ones, food security, financial stability, and jobs, especially this year of 2025. I hope to offer you comfort from an unlikely verse that comforted me and helped to know in my soul that weeping cannot last always because God will delicately but powerfully wipe away all the tears, making all things brand new. “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Rev 21:4
