Well, the fact that Survival has the best survivability for soloing is quite scary. Compared to BM, I hade more healing so I could actually remove an extremely powerful tank trinket. Which allowed me to beat the short enrage on this boss, in exchange for harder pet survival and aggro management. logs : https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/... So, I went survival. I have a lot less experience than BM, but the main issue was aggro management. The dangerous moments were when the dragon spawned, when I came back from the platform, and right before the intermission - hence the running away with eagle up (allows me to be a ranged for 15 seconds). But it also meant that my longest standing pet - Lebohaum, who started soloing with me in 2010 ( • Durendil vs Kael'Thas Héro , was back in action for the first time since Legion. And barely survived, by the way. A little less pet survivability and she was dead. P1 was simple, just manage aggro - if I forgot to FD and got a combo on me, I couldn't FD. I also needed to make sure I had misdirection up for the dragon. At the start of P2, I had to make sure to misdirect the dragon and not take aggro afterwards. So after misdirection I switched target. Before going on the platform, I needed to dismiss my pet. In BM, I also had to wait until dire beasts despawned. Same coming back - if I had a pet out, he despawned. Then on the platform, misdirect and heal pet, survive until my CDs were back and kill platform ASAP. This was both best for damage on boss - coming back as fast as possible - and because I wanted to deal with aggro issues before the 250% debuff from the other platform. The issue when coming back is I was probably going to take a hit, and I needed to keep my immunity. Also, I needed to use my ferocity pet - which is more fragile than the tenacity one. So I was trying to keep it alive with defensive until the claws, where I used my immunity, used hero and went back to the turtle. And once I had the +250% damage taken debuff, as single hit and I was dead. So I also needed to have feign death to make sure the breath was on my turtle. Then either misdirect or run away like hell from the dragon. I also needed to misdirect Salhadhaar on my pet for P3. In P3, I needed to make sure I never had the bosse's aggro - the smash would hurt a lot more. I used a defensive on every smash. Then keeping the pet alive was hard - I wasn't BM or dark ranger anymore, so far less pet healing - I needed to be ready to use defensives, but never waste them. Also, I needed to stay alive myself, with the 250% debuff - the healing belt barely kept me alive. He does not cast starkiller swing when tanked by a pet. Finally, I had to beat the enrage. I went Ritual mud (trinket) and the healing belt, and a dps trinket. I might have been able to go Devouring Nucleus (trinket) and dps belt - which would have done more damage - but I preferred having less RNG. Dimensius is currently unsoloable - at 58 seconds, his unavoidable reverse gravity kills you. And if you were able to beat that timer, he would be a joke, so no fun to be found there, sadly.
